Arkansas has become the third state to win federal approval of its Family First Prevention Plan, Governor Asa Hutchinson stated. The plan, which is called Family First Fits Us, outlines how the state Department of Human Services (DHS) Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS) will implement the new federal Family First Prevention Services Act. The Children’s Bureau, an office of the Administration for Children and Families in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, approved the plan.
