This document is primarily designed to support child welfare agencies and their partners during the Exploration stage1 of designing and implementing community pathways to prevention in the context of the Family First Prevention Services Act (Family First). The resource includes a list of relevant domains, guiding questions, and considerations for planning and implementation teams to carefully explore. Jurisdictions’ responses to these questions can be helpful for informing and structuring planning and implementation strategies and work plans towards successful and sustainable community-based Family First prevention services.
