Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) values meaningful engagement with our partners and the people we serve because we must work together to achieve the best outcomes. CDHS has gathered input from professionals, as well as volunteers, youth and families, who have interacted with the child welfare system to inform future decisions. This framework reflects learnings from youth/alumni in care, birth parents, relative caregivers and foster parents.
