Kinship navigator programs offer information, referral, and follow-up services to caregivers to link them to the benefits and services that they and the children need. Some of the programs are over twenty years old and provide robust case management, concrete goods, and other supportive services to the families, while others may be limited to information and referral. Due to federal funding opportunities that became widely available starting in 2018, many programs are relatively new. The list below attempts to capture all kinship navigator programs, both longstanding and new, without assessing their effectiveness.
