This letter is addressed to title IV-E agencies approved to operate a title IV-E extended foster care program. CB provided a copy of the letter to all child welfare directors to promote the collective actions needed across all child welfare agencies and programs to meet the needs of young adults. we believe there are many options and actions that you can take using the flexibilities under the Stafford Act as outlined in ACYF-CB-PI-20-10 to assist youth in their transition to adulthood during the COVID-19 pandemic.
