Nebraska’s Five-Year Title IV-E Prevention Program Plan 2020 (3rd edition)

The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services mission to “Help people live better lives.” The vision of the Division of Children & Family Services (CFS) includes utilizing the Family First Prevention Services Act to improve prevention services and remove fewer youth from the parental home, while providing more comprehensive, evidence-based services to children in their own homes, with their family, with reduced levels of secondary trauma. Families will progress more efficiently and timely within the child welfare system. Plan dated December 21, 2020, Version 3, submitted to ACF.
