The Social Innovation Research Center, with support from the IBM Center for the Business of Government, released a new report on the challenge for government policymakers of how to scale up a pilot or program that has been demonstrated to be successful in its early stages. The report describes the successes and lessons learned by governments working to reduce child maltreatment as they increase investments in home visiting, mental health services, and substance abuse services.
