On October 5th, the Administration of Children & Families and Center for Medicaid & CHIP Services released guidance on Support for Family-Focused Residential Treatment. Guidance includes: Existing Opportunities and Flexibilities under Medicaid, Coordinating Funding under Title IV-E, Medicaid, and other programs for SUD and Other Treatment Services provided by a Family-Focused Residential Treatment Program, and State Coordination of Funds Between Medicaid and the Title IV-E Foster Care Program for Children and Youth Placed with Parents Residing in a Residential Treatment Facility.
