In this webinar recording from the National Association of Counsel for Children, presenters discussed Racial Trauma and Institutional Racism in the field of child welfare, particularly through agencies charged with the protection of children against abuse and neglect. The presenters also discussed a community approach to addressing inequities in how families enter the pipline of the system and ways in which all child welfare and community advocates can improve cultural responsiveness, as well as check their own biases to be agents for systems change towards more equitable practices in the field of child welfare.
