The Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) embraces Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) implementation as an opportunity to expand the choices and support we provide to children, youth and families. DCYF is committed to increasing families’ access to supportive services prior to formal child welfare involvement. Through Family First, DCYF will create a culture of community participation in child safety and family well-being, thereby reducing the stigma of seeking help.
